The issue you bring up is very important, and long resolved/clarified in Veda.

(Kant had wonderful intellectual subtlety, but seemed not to transcend the intellect (even though he used this term) to direct experience of consciousness itself, the 4th state of consciousness -- transcendental consciousness.

However, Immanuel Kant's Transcendental Object is part of his broader theory of Transcendental Idealism. In his work, the Critique of Pure Reason, Kant argues that our knowledge is limited to phenomena (the world as we experience it Das Ding an sich) and that we cannot know things in themselves (the world as it is independently of our perception). The Transcendental Object refers to objects as they appear to us through our senses and cognitive faculties, not as they exist independently of us. This is a bit different from Frankl's transcendence, my favorite.

S. Béatrice Marianne Ewalds-Kvist you've confused "Transcendent Object " for "Transcendental Object " . The phrase Transcendental Object appears in Transcendental Deduction of A version of Critique and its not the object as the thing in it itself , but it is a pure concept without any empirical content which acts as a rule in creating synthetic unity among representations which other wise wont have any unity. So transcendental object , differing from transcendent object , acts as an anchor and gives rules to synthesis of disjointed representations (i.e gives a rule for mixing together red color and sweet taste to form an apple)

Kritik der reinen Vernunft should be read in German. I have used the wrong form of transcendence in English. Sorry.

Transcendental: Relates to the preconditions of knowledge and experience; associated with Kant's philosophy.

• Transcendence: Relates to surpassing ordinary limits; often used in existential and psychological contexts to describe finding higher meaning or purpose.
