What is the unit of Nuclear Matrix elements in case of Allowed and Forbidden transitions?

What is the unit of nuclear matrix element [B(GT)] strength. As in some papers for forbidden transitions it is written as [fm]. But in case of allowed transition we do not take any unit. Please explain. Thanks
