In our lab we are using the Atlas Suntest CPS+ (with the IR and UV special glass filters) for photoprotection evaluations of sunscreen formulations , and we would like to convert the radiation doses that we use into Standard Erythema Dose (SED).

I understand that by measuring the irradiance at each wavelength and weighing this to the erythema spectral we should be able to make the conversion. However, we don’t have access to a radiometer and for this reason I wanted to know how many minutes should we irradiate when using the maximum irradiance of the equipment (765w/m2) to give a dose of 1 SED. Thanks a lot for your help!!
