I am planning to conduct a research regarding the isolation of toxin component from a spider venom. In line with this, my problem lies on choosing the best protocol when it comes to the protein purification method of the venom concerning the minimal amount of the sample. The lesser the method, the better; to avoid loss of the sample. Any response would do. Thank you!

Hi Kirby, it is also very important that you have an quantitative assay for the toxin you are trying to isolate.
A quantitative assay will tell you how good the purification is.
