Herein you will find the formula to calculate the % inhibition along-with details of the method and you can compare your different samples easily by calculating the IC50 values. Different concentration of methanolic extract of plant taken like 10mg/ml,20mg/ml,30mg/ml,40mg/ml,50mg/ml and then added a fixed concentration of DPPH solution to all. then just measure uv absorbency in 517nm after 30min - 60min incubation against a blank.  

You need to understand the mechanism behind the protocol first then you can apply it judiciously to your plant material.
