Dear all,
I use label-free QTOF technique (Bruker) in my project. I got a good result at the first time I analyzed .d folder using MaxQuant version 1.6.5. However, in the last 2 months, error occurred every time I used the program as a pop-up window as follow (I also attached a file).
MaxQuantGui has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I’ve tried to solve this problem by using several versions including 1.6.2.1, 1.6.5, and 1.6.7 but the error still happened. Could anyone please suggest me how to fix this problem?

Find the combined folder (created by MaxQuant in the folder with the data), open the folder proc and find the file(s) which have "error" in their name. They will contain a message regarding the error. Some messages are easy to interpret, some not so much.

I read that you analyse .d folders with MaxQuant. May I ask how you analyse these? Do you just load them or do you adjust them first?

Jf Keijzer Hello, I just loaded .d folder into MaxQuant program without prior adjustment.
By the way, .d folder is the result folder got from LC MS/MS analysis.
