I agree your statement sir...but still in some good publication it’s reported about energy density of single electrode.

It is not advisable to follow the publication, if it does not show practically feasible results. energy density and power density has no value in 3-electrode system. these two parameters are tested to compare with real devices, so these should be performed in such systems.
