Normally, we determine the Miller Indices for various crystals as 001, 100, 010, for cube and 111 and so on for Octahedron etc. Here, we just describe the face is cut by a, b or c axis and running parallel to ...............or cutting all axes at equal length etc. But just describing this is not sufficient; what are the other uses of Miller  Indices?
