Most medical curricula focus on knowledge in biomedical and clinical sciences with specific emphasis on clinical skills in each body system. However, will these content make "good doctors"? The heart of the curriculum must refer to what we "owe" the society and the type of qualities that patients look for in their treating doctors.

Social sciences, humanities and professional attitude should be the heart of the curriculum rather than a peripheral component. What are your experiences in this area? And where do you see these elements in the curriculum you teach?
