Hi , I am doing a within group experiment. I have one independent variable with three levels and one dependent variable with three levels. What is the right statistical test for this experiment. I don't have a hypothesis but i have a few research questions that seek to analyse the outcomes of the experiment.
Polynomial logistic regression. If the dependent variable is ordered, then ordered logistic regression.
Despite though unknown one of variables are demographic or not, regression analyzes can be used depending subfactors. You should give more details about the variables.
Regression analysis is the best way; however you should define your objective before the analysis to consider it in analysis
i think chi square test can be used first to show different distribution of dependent variable between three level of in-dependent variable
According to me, regression analysis is the best method in this situation.
I have completed my experiment. I have 2 independent variables each with 2 levels . I used 2X2 withing subject Factorial Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). My statistical test results were for 2 main effects and 1 interaction.
