When water based ZnO nanofluid is mixed with acetylacetone (acac) at room temperature, the milky color of ZnO nanofluid is changed to transparent and the absorbance peak of ZnO is suppressed directly with the concentration of acac. Can anybody please explain what actually happened to ZnO nanofluid? Is it covered with acac or is it changed to some other compound chemically? Its will be great if somebody may help to understand this reaction.
