It is possible to notice, at some three phase induction machine datasheets, that exists a relationship between stator leakeage reactance and slip, that is, the stator leakage reactance increases as slip goes to its nominal value (steady state operation of AC motor). I know that Skin Effect acts on rotor bars resistance and reactance, causing its variation with respect to induced rotor current frequency, but how about stator reactance/resistance? How does it change with respect to machine slip and what is the phenomena associated with it?

Slip and Inductive Reactance:
Inductive reactance depends on the frequency and the slip. When the rotor is not turning the slip frequency is at maximum and so is the inductive reactance.
A motor has a resistance and inductance and when the rotor is turning the inductive reactance is low and the power factor approaches to one.

Torque Slip Characteristics is the graphical relationship between the torque and slip of an Induction Machine. This characteristic is very useful for the stability analysis of the machine.
Electromagnetic torque in an Induction Machine is given as
