1. Temperature: No proven association - Temperatures in certain areas of Middle-East and Central Africa touching 35-40 C, without any significant decrease in the prevalence of the COVID-19.

2. Gender: Males are more commonly and more severely affected with COVID-19 due to sex hormone (Estrogens, progesterone, and Testosterone), ACE2 receptor expression, and other gender related factors (e.g. smoking, and associated diseases)

3. Blood group: In a small study, blood group A was more likely to be associated with severe disease and higher death rate due to COVID-19 compared with B, AB, and O blood groups.

4. Age: Younger adults and children are often asymptomatic or develop minder symptoms, while older adults have severe COVID-19 disease with higher death rates.

5. Social isolation (or social distancing): When applied with hand hygiene, and testing when having symptoms has been the only factor successful in mitigation of the disease severity, spready, and death rate in the COVID-19 pandemic.

6. Smoking and drinking: Any organ involvement by these addictions(Lungs and liver respectively) increases the risk to COVID-19 and death rate.

7. Chronic diseases: Diabetes, hypertension, cancer, and any type of failure (Heart, renal, and respiratory failure) have worse COVID-19 disease and death rate.
