Turmeric rhizome powders look quite yellow in market. The produce is actually cooked, dried, polished and powdered one. I am looking at uncooked dried rhizome powders of different genotypes. I have tried a few genotypes and found different ones are giving different colours from pale yellow to orange. I want to look at curcumin content also. Is there any relationship to colour of this powder and actual curcumin content. Any experienced hands in this one, please help me. Further, please advice me the best strategies to link such relation.
