A suitable temperature in the alkylation reactor is between 4 and 12 C. We have two reactors in which the temperature difference should not be more than 0.5 degrees. But in the first one, the temperature was up to 15 C (when higher capacity was established) and the process was stopped (in the second reactor, the temperature was within the designed range). Reactors are cooled via effluent refrigeration system.
