What is the reason for delaying the acceptance and publication of scientific research in magazines despite the completion of the required conditions?

Addendum: In listing the reasons why accepted essays take so long to be published, I have forgotten one important point that I still have to mention.
One of the most time-consuming and annoying tasks of the editorial staff is to review the "Instructions for Contributors". Although there are certain tendencies towards standardisation in the formatting of headings and texts, the form of the bibliography and the citation method, these rules and regulations are neither uniform nor taken seriously by the contributors. Even if one clearly says to the individual author: "Read the instructions for writing the article first", everything will be read thoroughly and the authors will not abide by them. That is very annoying. Because I am an author myself and have published in various online journals, it is also annoying for authors that each journal has a different nomenclature. Of course, this confusion is also due to the fact that the individual subjects of teaching at a university have different traditions and publishing practices. A philosophical journal does this differently than a scientific journal. A magazine that publishes almost only text has different formal priorities than a scientific magazine that works a lot with photos and diagrams. Yes, unfortunately this is fact, and all authors should know that.
Its a very lengthy process when you publish a manuscript in reputed journals. Reviews process take more time.

The editors of scientific journals are often overloaded with work, so that even the deadlines they set themselves are not met on time. The problem is usually solved with a little more patience on the part of the author concerned. But it doesn't hurt to call the editorial office. That is the immediate way. Because each e-mail must be answered separately and costs the editor additional time.
