When you acquire an MRS spectra you must use the absortion mode to improve visualization and spectral analysis, before quantificate to obtain relieble metabolite estimates. But, why the phase (in some 400 MHz acquisition) is coiled? What is the reason for that? Is it for the many NSA used in T1?

I realized the phase accumulation due to time delays, and the problem of hardware noise, but my question try to find that problem due to the amount of acquisition time and other causes. I have acquiered with Bruker 400 MHz and Philips Achieva 1.5 T. The differences are that in the first one are a lot of phase accumulation (zero and first order correction) and in the second case (only zero order correction) not so much.
I want to know: Is it due to programation of the secuence? I know always there will be noise for the reasons you said. But, is there another theoric explanation for the phase accumulation?
