I have noticed that some of chickpea leaflets started to develop a whitish color on the edges while the top portion of the leaflet is still green, could this be due to some sort of a deficiency?
The experience was conducted in pots (containing a mixture of soil, sand and compost) which were kept indoor under LED light (70% red, 30% blue), pictures are linked below.

Super interesting experiment! So you are feeding the plant only red and blue light and not green light. Two things that come to my mind, one is to try using green light and second, you are missing UV. Of course, this may be the whole point of your experiment (using only red and blue). With that being said, the absence of these colors may be having an affect on the photosynthesis owning to a lack of a specific chemical reaction that may cause the reflected light off of the leave to absorb/reflect different colors into your eye. Since it is white-ish in color the leave is absorbing/reflecting RGB colors to make it appear white in color. So the change you caused by only using red and blue light to feed your plant (name it Audrey; from a movie) is causing the leave chemical make up to reflect more RGB into your eye instead of just G (green) under normal conditions. Also, the natural visible light consist of a broad band of colors from UV to NIR so only using specific bands of red and blue may leave you with many more waveband variables to rule out. Make sure you test multiple identical plants with exact amount of water, temperature, soil content and humidity because these can affect plant color too. Break open you lab book and scientific method and begin your critical thinking to eliminate all the variables. Sounds like a fun experiment.
