Ah, a most essential question:  Purpose of Humanity in this Physical World?

We are creatures, same but different than other creatures. Our intelligence and comprehension-ability is at the top of the line. We human creatures are the only ones who can transcend body-mind, study, and comprehend the system of creation and its significance.  We are the ones who have to preserve this physical world and its balance so it can sustain us and all creature in the chain of life - in a life-fulfilling way.

Additionally, humans are the only creatures who can comphrehend beyond the physical. Humans can transcend body-mind, and know who they are beyond body-mind, beyond that which does not decay. It is a learned process that is in fact the destination of all humans, but everyone does not get that liberation at the same time.  Yes liberation - liberation from the innumerable rounds of births. Study with one who knows the path and the process, and the knowledge is the best way. 

Exist in the awareness of others and help all the same others to improve the lives. By doing so it improves its own.

At the first stages of human life on the Earth, the main purpose is to construct, but today, unfortunately!, deconstruct, and the lighting evidence for this deconstruction is for example climate change, accumulation of polymeric and plastic waste on the earth (millions of tons every year!), so we as human have to rethink about our planet future and supporting all international efforts in this regards like the last summit of top G20 countries.

I hope to participate in drawing a new GREEN WORLD again.

I believe that life is the act of living which depends on the three components of human and manifested only by the body component. We are created by a super being who expect us to carry out a particular task for the time period we have to live in this physical world.

However, giving the fact that the acts of living of each human are very different from each other, does it make sense to talk about Human purpose in general terms? Your field studies the purpose of Humans as a specie? Or your question intends to identify categories of purposes?

Out of all births (species that available) human is the best. Serve the society, finally merge with God. 

Each and everything on this earth has their own purpose. Vegetation give food for all living organisms. Rivers provide water (that water comes by rains). Like cattle give milk so on so fore. Getting human birth is very difficult, once you take birth you were grown up and get education and all, then use that education to get a job, take care of your oldage parents and help society if you can.

Silvio mentioned in general terms it is difficult, yes that is absolutely correct. For e.g. who invented computer and this IT technology!! Unless otherwise had they been discovered these things, how we would have been connected and shared our ideas!!!

So everyone have their own purpose. Like how Thomas Alva Edison invented bulb, Graham Bell phone so on so fore.

What is the Purpose of Human in this Physical World?

In my personal opinion, the purpose is depending on whether we are only focusing on this physical world or we also broaden our horizon to include what will happen after we have died in this physical world.  We know that we human beings need to go through the human life cycle including: birth, growth, sickness & death.  Some people believe there is no other chapter of life after we were dead - just like the lighted candle being put off & nothing can be done.  Some believe there is reincarnation.  Some believe there is another world either heaven or hell is awaiting us etc.  If there is a new chapter of life after our physical death, then how we plan / don't plan for the new chapter might influence the purpose of our lives in this physical world.  As the saying goes - if we fail to plan, we plan to fail. 

This is the answer I already gave to a similar question:

The encounter with the rock was accidental and the rock had no antecedent purpose, but you have put the rock to a purposeful use and thereby bestowed a purpose – your purpose – upon it. Life is like that too – it has no antecedent purpose but only the purpose we give it through our own purposeful actions. Surely that is better than our life having a purpose that has been antecedently given to it by someone else (i.e. a supernatural being).

Looking for purpose is a futile venture, but a very human one.  There is in fact no purpose to existence and neither does there need to be.  Humans are in the main incapable of observing any phenomena objectively.  It is very common, even in the most highbrow science to relate natural events to the position of humanity, even where there is no such link.

One of my favourites is discussing the fate of the universe in human terms, as if we are likely to be around when the universe ceases to exist.  Another is looking at evolution as if humanity is the culmination of it.  On a universal scale humans are largely irrelevant, even on a planetary scale we are only one of countless transient species.   

Human is merely a part of food-chain which is created by the nature.

If you think you are no more than the body-mind, then your responses about life suffice. Can you be sure you are not more than body-mind?

In line with Dr. Pratibha, Einstein once said that "The world is not dangerous because of those who do harm, but because of those who look at it without doing anything". So, as we live in this physical world, we have to develop our intelligence which helps us in for filling our purpose of existence, which to me, I think is understanding creation. 

Einstein was a great scientist but not a good seer or philosopher.  We should not sanctify great people, only appreciate them.

The main and only purpose of human life on this earth is to regain God given authority and dominion what he has lost by restoring fellowship with his creator Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world.

This is a great question, from my point of view and I believe it. We have been created to do one task , to worship who has created us the god ( Allah).

The purpose of our creation is mentioned in The Holly Quran , there are many verses talk about this topic . I have just gathered some below:

So, I can say that self creation is based on Faith and/or Proof which gives theology and science a synergistic nature, leading to the acquisition of knowledge by an individual, with the end goal being the sum total of knowledge acquired by the entire humanity about the universe.

Dear K D Njikeh, you have posed a very basic question that's answer is bare essential to know every humne being; all living beings are nature's selection for its endless circular chain prosess of having it's own equilibrium; biologist call it food-chain, human being is a part of it. The basic function of every living being is to consume other's output meanwhile discharging it's own out as input to others for just to keep the process continues; to carry-on this process further every being gives birth to child; these are basic functions of every living being on earth as well universe, it is alone true in case Celestial bodies. It is what sage Valmiki calls"Universe Stuff".All are, living and non-living beings, the components of this US.

Self actualization through service to others.

In my opinion the purpose of human being here in this physical world is to understand his/her relationship with all that he/she can perceive through 5 senses and also to understand if there is anything that is beyond these 5 senses. Understanding of expressed outer dimension (perceived through 5 senses) is extrovertial movement of mind and understanding unexpressed inner what is beyond 5 senses is introvertial movement of mind. Efforts involved for maintaining a perfect balance between outer and inner movement. In this process many new ideas many new secrets should come forth which shapes up and provide necessary directions for further movement of human being into next stage.
