Recently I started learning GNU Octave for Machine learning. What I found that people also use Math Lab, Python or R for Machine Learning! I was wondering whether I can continue with Ocatave for Machine Learning in the future? Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

Well, there are different aspects. No doubt that Python is way ahead in this case as suggested by Ikram Ul Haq & Mohammed Deeb .
But if you are a newbie, that is very first learning, I will suggest to use GNU Octave. It's usage may help you better. The same is also recommended by legendary scientist Mr. Andrew NG.
