We aim to incoporate flow in our tumor model but searching the literature did not yield any clear answers yet. I have found flow rates for HCC between 1 and 16.5 ml/min/g, with the latter being way beyond the total hepatic blood flow. If I am understanding correctly, vascularization in a solid tumor can be increased but total flow is often reduced due to the increased pressure, leading to hypoxia and a necrotic center.

Does anyone know what an adequate flow rate would be for HCC as well as CCC to simulate physiological flow?

Many thanks in advance!
