IIRC normal AST range can be as high as 100IU/L in rats while ALT runs in the 50IU/L range.

For Human it is

SGOT- 7-40 U/L

For Rat it is given in one paper

Previously SGOT and S GPT normla levels are up 20 IU/ml, recently in some instruments for both test their levels are up to 40 IU/ml.
