What is the most appropriate test to compare means from three different groups having a non normal distribution?

Hi, there.

I need to compare the means of the number of trainees in three different types of hospitals: public only, private only and mixed public and private. I know that the number of trainees in these hospitals are not normally distributed. What test should I use?
