If we are conducting a time lag study on relationship of employee psychological behavior and employee out come for example his/her performance . What should be the minimum time gap is required between two data points while collecting the data in waves. Please some one can share a reference quoting some standard rules for time-lag study ?
You haven't received an answer because your question, as it stands, doesn't make sense. The appropriate lags will be context dependent.
I suggest that you change your approach. Maybe the design of experiments (DoE) with vignettes (e. g, http://bbronline.com.br/index.php/bbr/article/view/505/764) or secondary data [if you find some database that responds to your research question]. But I agree with Mr. Daniel Wright. There are volatile and non-volatile employee behaviors that need different lagged-times.
