I have seen that > 100ng is a typical minimum from many WGS providers. However, I likely have less than this? What method, platform or company would be best for performing whole genome sequencing on a small amount of DNA? In particular, the DNA is canine.

Hi Jordan,
Obviously, it depends on genome quality and the goal of the analysis.
1. Any company or method can sequence a small amount of DNA, if the extracted DNA is of acceptable quality.
2. If your goal in gene sequencing is to study ancestry, a small piece of the gene can work.
But if your research is about population or bottleneck studies, you need a bigger gene.
