For adsorption processes most Isotopes for the Langmuir and Freundlich Models have positive slopes and intercept especially in regards to adsorption of metals with low concentrations. what is the interpretation for negative slopes and intercept for organic pollutants.

In Langmuir, both intercept and slope give value of Qm denotes maximum monolayer adsorption capacity (mg/g) and KL, a measure of adsorption intensity (L/mg).
In Freundlich, KF is the Freundlich isotherm constant((mg/g) and 1/n related to the bonding energy.
When ever slope and intercept corresponds to a negative value, then all model parameters (Qm, KL, KF and 1/n ) will get negative values. By this, you can conclude that current adsorption data does not match with Langmuir and Freundlich models.

When there's negative slope and intercept in both models, it's signify that the adsorption experiment does not fit for both isotherms.
