What is the importance of journal rankings in the area of business and management?

Ranking of business journals in business.

What I noticed during my research is, that high ranking journals in management are rather focused on quantitative research than on qualitative work.

Consequently, from my point of view, if you plan to publish in a high ranking management journal take in mind that you will have a better chance with quantitative research.
