You can think of fragmentation of the Golgi based on how the fragmentation occurs.
1. Through disruption of cellulary machinery (like microtubules and motors) that the Golgi relies on.
2. Through disruption of Golgi specific proteins that function in forming the ribbon (tethers like the GRASP proteins, SNARES).
