Our perception of the reality is based on level of consciousness. These levels are 3D, 4D , and 5D and higher levels as well. In 3D state you see yourself and everything else in purely physical form ,separate from one each other.Your judgement about your well-being is based on fear of not having enough physical possession. In 4D level of consciousness you start believing that you are not an separate entity but part of some big reality. You may experience episode of spiritual awakening in which you experience that the reality is much more than what you experience with our five senses. This is beginning of seeking in-depth meaning of life.In the 5D , you actually feel that you are part of unity .There is compete contentedness , love, affection with every thing in the universe. You feel deep emotions of love with and compassion. No judgement , no competition, journey of joy and peace.

Transformation from purely physical being into spiritual being by considering oneself as a part of unity and feeling of love and compassion for all the things in the universe without any judgement is what 5D encompasses.
German mathematician Theodor Kaluza and Swedish physicist Oskar Klein independently developed the Kaluza–Klein theory in 1921, which used the fifth dimension to unify gravity with electromagnetic force. The other 10 dimensions are compacted, or "rolled up", to a size below the subatomic level.
Thank you for your contribution. Everyone explained it in different way but all have some common points of view which is 5th dimension is related to non materialistic issues.
Humans as creatures are much weaker in almost every physical and sensor-like capabilities as compared to animals. The only outstanding advantage is a human brain allowing for such capabilities as synthesis, combination, and imagination. With Artificial Intelligence (AI) coming into being, synthesis and combination capabilities of humans do not look as superior as before. The only remaining bastion that is not diminished yet by a computerized AI system is imagination. I think that's the 5th dimension as of now.
I was thinking about different answers later by Dr. Mizrah and I compare it with the idea proposed by the science fiction movie Interstellar(2014) and this year interstellar-2, but I did not see it yet. I noticed that it is related to the dream and imagination of human being to stay young while crossing very long distances to planets and galaxies in minutes or hours using worm holes that requires thousands of years without it. Some mixes the theories (relativity) and relates gravity with 5th dimension.
Of course Sundaram the first dimension and second dimension are the geographic location of a person or a thing (X, Y) the third dimension is the height or elevation and the fourth is the time. In other word it is the physical location of a person on earth and the changes that a person experiences during his/her lifetime such as growing up and height increase and moving from one house to another (changes in x, y and z)
Yes, I agree with you. It can be the [4th dimension +1] but I do prefer the [3rd dimension + 2nd-dimension] as I can relate both to volume/mass and area.
There are models in string theory where the universe has more than 10 spatial dimensions, and time being the 4th dimension is simply a construct to help in some models.
The phenomena you list may be our perceptions of something beyond our senses (of which there are more than the often used but incorrect assertion of 5) , but they all depend on an observer. Length, width, height and even time if we chose to include it can all exist and be measured without considering our perceptions.
