For an angle greater than the critical angle in n^>1 interface we find evanescent waves. I need to find the characteristic length of exponential decay of the wave propagating along the surface. Thanks :)
More details are needed such as which medium interface, electromagnetic or acoustic waves, frequency of operation to calculate penetration depth of evanescenet waves.
