I had a medium stored and sealed for 2 months that presents an intense pink color, I put it in the CO2 incubator but it does not recover the light pink color. I will make a new medium but, has anyone tried to determine an expiration date for the supplemented medium?

normally we use up our medium (either DMEM or RPMI) with FBS or supplements up in a month, but sometimes (especially for RPMI used for bone marrow macrophage generation) it remains two or even three months in the refrigirator. But in the RPMI for BMDM generation, we always add HEPES for pH buffering so the color did not change like in your case (more pink would mean more basic).
If you observe color change frequently with your RPMI with FBS I would add a buffering solution (like HEPES) to it or use it up in time before it changes color.

Hello, I agree with Marc on using HEPES as part of the recipe for media preparation for both PRMI and DMEM specially if you know the bottle will last you for more than 2 weeks. With the buffer in, I would keep the media as long as it is clear and maintain original color
