I have coded for static analysis of cylindrical shell panel using shell theory. I have validated the code from the published results which I have found only for shallow shells. However, the same code for natural frequency analysis has also been validated from the published results for deep shells (subtended angle of arcs > 60 deg). I am interested in how does the subtended angle of arc of cylindrical shell effects the deflection keeping radius of cylinder same all cases. In my code I am observing no particular trend for that. Can any body suggest?
