Do you mean Digital Differential Analyzer (DDA)? Maybe they believe there is some good implementation in Linux. But since it's simple, I think this code example may help.

Just use some C/C++ code or python code (https://gist.github.com/0xKD/4433688), there shouldn't be any big difference between Win and Linux. Also, Cygwin can be a choice.
