I want to prevent fibroblast cells from attaching to the culture dish for an experiment. I need the cells to remain unattached to the dish for at least 6-12 hrs. I tried to coat the dish surface with Pluronic F-127 (5%) but these cells are extremely sticky and happy to adhere to even these surfaces. I noticed several different protocols for different cell types. Even the Ultra-low attachment TC dishes don't mention compatibility for fibroblasts. Does anyone have experience in such kind of work? I would like to welcome any suggestions. Thanks.
