Hi Sanjay, I would call Glycolysis a pathway; considering that it starts from glucose and ends as pyruvate. As for 'network', I think of production of ATP/ energy from proteins or lipids.
Is this helpful? Is it necessary to distinguish between the two?
A chemical compund in the cell has to bee synthesized through a series of setps, that is a Pathway. many times several of taht steps are used in different pathways making a sort of intermingled array of chemical reactions and that is a network. I hope this ideas help you to distinguish between both concepts.
