Is this expatiation true for the difference between High Frequency transformer and Coupled-Inductor for dc/dc converter,
"Transformer is basically used for voltage and current scaling, but primarily for DC-isolation between the input and the output. Coupled inductor does not provide any isolation between the grid and the load. It is use for energy storage during switching cycle of the dc/dc converter.".
If statement is not true than how can i precisely differentiate between the two.
