Girum -

I am not an expert in either logistic regression, nor hierarchical regression, but I am certain that these are different concepts. Logistic regression refers to the kind of data, here, binary (yes/no) dependent variable data. But hierarchical regression refers to the structure of the model, here a multilevel model.
