What is the difference between analog and digital RF MEMS capacitors?

Analog RF MEMS Capacitors:

these are variable capacitors which sweep continuously and there is no latching system for it, so the C-V curve for them is a line or Parabolic without any step on it.

Digital RF MEMS Capacitors:

these are variable capacitors which sweep step by step and there is the latching system for it, so the C-V curve for them is not a continuous line and it increased step by step on it.
