Generally there are various kinds of Al2O3 phases in Petroleum Catalyst, each of which has a particular leaching behavior. Please explain solubility of Al2O3 phases in both acidic and alkaline media.
They differ only in surface ares/porosity. Thus the availability for hydrolysis is different .
