Dear Sirs,

I know the works by Mitra (surface to volume ratio in porous media) on diffusion coefficient dependence on short times. See

 P. P. Mitra, P. N. Sen, L. M. Schwartz, Short-time behavior of the diffusion coefficient as a geometrical probe of porous media, Phys. Rev. B, Vol. 47, pp. 8565-8574 (1993)

There are also theories of long range diffusion which together with Mitra`s theory help to determine the pore radius for glass packs. See

L.L. Latour et al., Pore-size distributions and tortuosity in heterogeneous porous media. J. Magn. Reson. Ser. A 112(1), 83–91 (1995)

I have the following questions.

Could we account for the adsorption at the pore surface for real pore geometry?

Could we determine the mean pore size in case of the arbitrary pore geometry or for some sorts of pores geometries?

I would be very appreciate for modern review on PFG NMR restricted diffusion determination of structure of porous media. Thank you for an advance!!
