It is known from evidence that more than 90% of cancer cervix are attributed to Human Papilloma virus. Infection occurs due to sexual exposure. What exactly is the source and reservoir of infection?

We should answer the question that whether HPV in causation or association with these 90% of cancers first. It is the most frequent sexually transmitted infection and can be overexpressed coincidendally with the uncontrolled proliferation of cancer cell line which can be accidentally percepted as the cause of cancer rather than a simple association.
