Up until seven years old do nothing except playing with the kid, developing his speaking and social skills by reading books for the one, and letting him play alone and with other kids as well. By that time, it will become more clear, which directions a special attention is going to be required.
Innovative facets of learning are fine but hard work I'm afraid is another essential component as evidenced by Tiger Mothers (a term used for mothers academically ambitious for their children). If you consider, as I do, that intelligence is strengthened and developed through the various forms of learning your child can achieve an immense amount.
Although play is absolutely essential, I read. I read. I read. I read. When you are young, this process alone will affect future prospects.
One should rely on his inborn quality! Blaise Pascal's father forbade him to study mathematics, since he [father] was already struggling with earning money as a mathematician himself.Blaise worked out on his own, at the age of 12, the fact that the sum of the angles of a triangle is equal to two right angles (180º)!
To make a child academically intelligent, you must increase the intelligence of young children and parents. Encouraging children to play with models, they improve the language abilities of the child, and contribute some video games to improve thinking, and train the brain to stay more vigilant. • Emphasis should be placed on positive thoughts with the child, positive practices and performance, and a distance from despair and negativity under all circumstances. Promote meditation to improve mental health, and encourage breathing exercises before tests. And enhance the child's skills with brain-stimulating games such as chess, puzzles, and crossword puzzles. Help the child to breathe outdoors, to provide the brain with adequate oxygen, increase concentration, and rapid thinking. This is in addition to encouraging the child to read and bring colorful interesting stories.
Give him the liberty to explore to the maximum (physically and visually with minimum screen time < 30 min a day) and have fun... Only interfere when he is in danger... Watch out whether he is achieving all his developmental milestones.
This can be achieved by engaging the child in problem solving type toys and games, but i personally believe that at such tender age it is better to leave the child alone and allow the child to learn to interact with the envoirnment on its own, in the natural, unstructured ways of children.
