Is there any expert in working with strictly anaerobes?

I am working with Akkermansia muciniphila DMSZ 22959 and I would appreciate suggestions on how to properly store this anaerobe. For lactic acid bacteria, I usually stock the culture in MRS containing 30% (v/v) glycerol at −80 °C.

As for Akkermansia, should I use other cryoprotectants (e.g., DMSO)? and in which proportion?
