I have a precipitate of azide-beta-cyclodextrin in acetone. I've filtered it by filter paper, but after evaporation and drying at ambient temperature, it stuck to filter paper and the separation was hard to do. I repeated this synthesis, but this time for separation of the precipitate I put it in vacuum oven overnight, with a temperature of 40 centigrade. The result was that there was no precipitate and most of the acetone was evaporated. Does anyone have any suggestion for the separation of this precipitate? I would be thankful in advance.
