I want to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of several plant extracts (extracted by supercritical CO2 extraction method - e.g.sage,oregano,) against Salmonella carnosus. The extracts are oily and rarely watersoluble. I need recommendations for suitable dilution reagent. Also I would like to know which kind of test for determining the MIC you would suggest? My lab wants to try broth macro dilution method...
