Direct absor solar collectors (DASC) absorb solar energy directly instead of being absorbed on a black surface as in conventional solar collectors. DASC have a transparent glass sheet to allow the sunlight reach working fluid. This glass sheet is covered internally with vapor blanket and hence reduce the intensity of sunligh. My question is how to tackle this problem and and how can we optimise the condensate collection?
