What is the best way to achieve a hard to soft contact with conductive silicone polymer to a copper conductive wire for sensing applications ?

I am using carbon grease to let a soft material with conductive properties connect with copper wire electrodes. However, the hard-to-soft transition at the contact point causes uneven stress concentration upon the stretching of the silicone sensors. Any leads on making stretchable conductive silicone adhere to a copper electrode wire ?
