There is no better turbulence model. Each model has its pros and cons. It’s best not to use turbulence models, but to use a direct calculation method. But this requires very large computer capacities and times.
Yes, I agree with Dmitry L. Tsyganov . Turbulence models are not exact models. In my experience with turbulent flow problems, the k-e standard model is a one model that can be used for many problems of flow. To justify your models, please try and evaluate your simulation with all the models you have. It is also valuable to have a look a tutorial in ICE Ansys for non premixed calculations.
