Hi C. elegans community,

I want to know the subcellular localization (at protein levels using western blotting) of two of my target proteins. For that, I am going to use Histone H4 variant as a nuclear fraction marker, alpha tubulin as cytosolic fraction marker. I want to know a very good protein marker for membrane fraction (it should be cell membrane bound not anywhere else) to be used as a control.

I am slightly confused about the selection of membrane protein marker. If you come across any conserved transmembrane markers through your experiments or literature, please let me know. If anybody working in the specific area of interest, please suggest me the corresponding commercial antibody also. Any suggestions you could give would be greatly appreciated !
