In our work we need a hot working steel with the service temperature of 1100 Celsius. Actually T300 ma be a good candidate but I am looking for a cheaper one.
You can try grey iron (ex : ASTM grade 30). It's working for pouring grey or ductile iron poured at around 1300 °C so i think it could work and it's really cheaper. You can search for brass die casting, the pouring temperature is the same as yours.
Please try H13. The materials used as permanent mold for die-casting. For improving the materials, you can used die-coat ceramic. The method is expected to be very cheap
1.4571 might be a good choice (this is the mould material we use for PB-CHM titanium castings), H13 should also work. If you would like to protect your mould further, there are excellent coatings, e.g. by ZYP Coatings. They provide spray cans with Yttria or Zirconia including binder. You just spray it on the surfaces put it to a standard furnace at 1000°C / 1h / FC and achieve a protective layer.
